Steps Involved

Consultation

An experienced Designer Consultant will visit your home to discuss your swimming pool requirements. During this consultation, they will present a variety of pool designs and assist you in determining your unique preferences. Additionally, they will take measurements of your backyard to guarantee the creation of a precise design.

3-D Pool Design

We provide each client with a 3-D computer-generated design before commencing construction. These designs are highly realistic, enabling you to visualize how your pool design will integrate with your home and backyard. At this point, you can propose any necessary modifications or enhancements. After your design gets approved, we utilize it to generate drawings and initiate the layout process.

Selection of materials

After your design gets the green light, your Design Consultant will arrange a meeting with you at one of our Design Centers. During this session, you'll have the opportunity to inspect various samples of tile, plaster, decking, and stone. This will enable you to select the materials that are most suitable for your pool's requirements.

Layout

In this stage, we'll initiate the construction of your pool. The initial step entails transferring the pool's measurements and designs to the specified site area. This enables us to precisely envision the pool's size and shape, providing us the chance to make any required modifications to its dimensions and location prior to beginning the excavation process.

Excavation

After completing the layout stage, we move on to the excavation of the grass, soil, and rock beneath it. This is done to properly prepare the site for the construction of the pool.

Forming & Steel

Steel and wood, while commonly used to establish a sturdy base for a house, are also employed in the creation and construction of your pool. Although they may appear rough, they are essential in providing a framework for a pool scape, demonstrating exceptional structural strength.

Electrical & Plumbing

We ensure all plumbing and electrical components are installed prior to initiating the gunite process. Our team conducts pressure tests on the plumbing system for optimal functionality, and we also verify that the electrical components comply with the required city and state codes.

Gunite Application

Our expert team carefully applies gunite using high-pressure hoses to form the robust inner shell of your new pool. Watching the exact application and meticulous craftsmanship of the gunite concrete onto the forming structure is an awe-inspiring sight, offering you the first look at your dream pool coming to life.

Tile & Coping

Masonry & Stone

Decking

The area surrounding your pool, known as the pool deck, offers a range of surface choices such as On Deck, custom stone, or stamped concrete, tailored to your design preferences. Additionally, we can incorporate various elements like outdoor fireplaces, firepits, fountains, summer kitchens, and more, based on your unique design needs.

Plaster

The process of applying plaster to gunite is both intricate and straightforward. It entails spraying the plaster onto the surface, which necessitates a proficient and meticulous team to promptly smooth it out for an attractive finish. Once completed, the pool is filled with water. It's crucial for homeowners to thoroughly brush the pool twice daily for the subsequent 7 days to attain the smoothest surface.
